Medical records Reviewer on Full time/ Part time/ consultant/ freelancing

Designation: Medical Records summarizing Scientist

    CTC: Not a constraint for suitable candidates. Skills Required:
  • Ability to understand and summarize the records in chronological order
  • Ability to provide root cause analysis
  • Knowledge on personal injury, medical malpractice cases
  • Knowledge about mass tort/ product liability cases
  • Expertise in medical terminologies
  • Good communication skills to interact with clients
    Role Profile:
  • Preparing medical summaries for medical malpractice, personal injury and mass tort cases
  • Performing the Case Analysis and Peer Review (Quality check)
  • Perform medical review, validate follow-up request and perform medical assessment
  • Look at each individual medical record to check for missing documentation;
  • Prioritize workloads to ensure expedited cases are processed within defined timelines
  • Responsible for the timely completion of individual cases and meeting the SLA for data entry and case analysis activity as per SOP
  • Responsible for the timely reception of an individual case on a daily basis
  • Responsible for registration in e-logbook and for the duplicate search process

Education: Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT), BDS, BSc Nursing, MBBS graduates

Medical Document Reviewer

Designation: Medical Records summarizing Scientist

  • Knowledge about mass tort/ product liability cases
  • Expertise in medical terminologies

    Role Profile:
  • Verify and review all forms and documents pertaining to a case for errors, missing information, legibility; and request follow up information as required
  • Ensuring accurate and documentation of medical history, suspect drugs and concomitant medications
  • Assess adverse event reports for seriousness, causality and expectedness as per the appropriate label
  • Verify appropriate selection of adverse event, appropriate MedDRA code assignment, selection of seriousness criteria, causality assessment and accuracy of label assessments for Adverse Events
  • Verify consistency between the source documents and the narrative summary
